CISTERN TANKS

Freezing is a big concern with our harsh cold weather. When installing a cistern system, we excavate deep within the ground to keep the risk of freezing low to minimal. That includes the trenches we dig to install the water lines used to run the pipes from tank to building. Our excavator operators are trained to consider the land around the excavation site to ensure we don’t leave your property in a mess. You'll have a property ready for it's next improvement.

EARTHWORKS

Earthworks and excavation are essentially the same service. While earthworks regard services that are more surface level than a deep dig. SEPTIC TANKS

Septic tank installations must meet specified criteria outlaid by the Alberta government and completed by certified installers. We design and install septic tanks that meet these standards including the excavation depth to below the ground freezing point.   • What is the difference between excavation and trenching?

    Excavation is the industry as a whole and trenching falls under the umbrella of excavation. Excavation services typically refer to deep digs, earthworks, land preparation, and trenching. Trenches and trenching are identified by the longer distance and shorter width of the hole dug. Technical names aside, we can help Parkland County, AB residents and businesses achieve their excavation project’s success. 

  • Does your excavation company follow all safety regulations?

  • Can excavation and trenching projects be completed during the winter?

    Alberta winters are often unpredictable. Generally speaking, unless it’s an emergency, it’s not recommended to have excavations completed when the ground is frozen. It’s hard on the equipment and the weather will dictate the timeline. 

  • What do excavation services cost in Alberta?

    Every project is different and thus the cost for every job is going to fluctuate. Since we also install septic and cistern systems our excavation services are usually built into the overall project cost. Yet, if you need excavation services as a standalone service, we recommend calling to get an accurate estimate specific to your property.
